Honolulu – Hundreds of students and supporters will gather tomorrow as After-School All-Stars, in partnership with Kaho’omiki and the After School Alliance celebrate Lights On After School (LOAS). LOAS is an annual rally to celebrate after school programs and highlight the benefits they provide to students.
There will be 300 After-School All-Star participants from eight middle schools from Oahu, as well as students from various A+ programs to celebrate.
At After-School All-Stars Hawaii, our programs have made an impact on our participants grades, attendance in school, as well as giving them life skills and confidence. There is a huge demand statewide for after-school activities, and we hope everyone will join in the effort to bring awareness to how important it is to keep our kids safe, productive and engaged in school and in life.
