The organization’s mission is to provide quality comprehensive after-school programs that keep 6th, 7th, 8th graders out of trouble and help them succeed in school and in life.

Founded by Arnold Schwarzenegger in 1990, the programs have been designed to prepare middle school youth for high school, college, and the 21st century by offering academic support, enrichment opportunities and health/fitness activities.  After-School All-Stars serves 70,000 youth annually through after school and summer programs in 13 chapters across the country.
